Get Adequate Sunshine and Natural Light to Enhance Your Energy….

We have an interesting post on the Energy Enhancer: Adequate Sunshine and Natural Light…full of practical advice you can use TODAY…before you read this make sure you take three deep breaths:

Did you know you can increase you’re your energy by natural exposure to sunlight?  Sunlight, natural sunlight, not tanning beds, or hot lamps so that we are clear….Five facts on sunlight and our body –

Fact: Sunlight is an essential nutrient.

Fact: The human body needs natural sunlight exposure to our skin and exposure to our eyes.

Fact: Sunlight enables the human body to assimilate calcium for YOUR health of bone and cartilage tissues.

Fact: Sunlight is related to the reproduction of red blood cells and the avoidance of anemia.

Last Fact: Vitamin D, that’s right Vitamin D is also a factor of sunlight.

So, I encourage you to get sunlight daily, but hold on…here is some advice on getting YOUR Sun…

Daily Exposure: Get out daily for 20 minutes…that’s it!  There is no need to overexpose the body to sun rays as they can cause harm if we do not proceed with caution.  Get your sun before 10am or after 3pm, during non-peak hours.

Protection: Always wear a hat to protect your face.  Regardless of your skin pigmentation, apply sunscreen to your face and skin for added protection. Do not believe the myths that darker hues do not need added protection…We ALL need the added protection!

Sun Bathing: If you lay in the sun, expose each side of your body for 20 minutes front and back …Add it up, that is a TOTAL of 40 minutes maximum!  That’s it!

Caution: Chronic sun tanning is the single greatest cause of PRE-MATURING AGING of delicate tissues to YOUR face as a result your beautiful supple skin will eventually turn to leather.  I am sure you have seen people with the “leather” look or non-healthy skin.

Exposure to adequate sunshine and natural light will enhance your energy…get your hat and sunscreen, enjoy the Sun!
